At Sunday’s New York Police Department (NYPD) and New York Fire Department Charity Hockey Game, what started as a normal hockey fight, turned into a team-to-team battle. Hosted at the Nassau Coliseum on Long Island, home of the New York Islanders NHL team, the teams took the magic of a hockey fight to a whole new level. The NYPD eventually won (8-5), breaking the NYFD’s 5-year winning streak. Both teams had the scars to show the violent reality of a good fight. Although the video contains some lewd language from the crowd, the rink-wide fight lasted for several minutes as excited hockey fans cheered and taunted the both team’s players on the rink.
