This week started the opening season for Major League Baseball and while most teams were strong and fit to play, Los Angeles Angels hitting coach Don Baylor his right femur during the opening pitch at Monday night’s game against the Seattle mariners. Baylor was taken to a hospital before the Angels' 10-3. Baylor, 64, is a survivor of multiple myeloma, a cancer that attacks bone marrow. Joining the Angeles during the off-season Don Baylor had previous management positions on both the Rockies, Cubs, and Diamondbacks. Baylor looks to have surgery this upcoming Tuesday.
