After receiving surgery for his two torn LCL ligaments of the knee, Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffen III has been recovering in record time. Commonly referred to as “RGIII” in the NFL, Griffen's doctor (Dr. James Andrews) said,
"RG III is one those superhumans. First patient I ever had like that was Bo Jackson. And recently I, of course, had Adrian Peterson, who is also superhuman. They have an unbelievable ability to recover, where as a normal human being may not be able to recover."
Griffen suffered from a sprained ligament in the Chief's 14 week of the season against the Baltimore Ravens and has been out ever since. RGIII has been training and recovering nonstop and hope to be back on the field as soon as possible.
